On behalf of Serving People In Need’s Board of Directors and staff I would like to welcome you to our website. Since 1988 SPIN as been dedicated to serving families and individuals throughout the Lynn area.
The agency has recently transformed itself from an agency that provided shelter housing to an agency that addresses the wide and varied needs of families and youth. Since obtaining housing isn’t the only step in being self-sufficient we developed a plan to expand services to help them gain financial independence.
With that in mind, we are opening the United Way Financial Stability Center powered by SPIN this fall. The center will provide families guidance, training and resources to achieve financial independence. I would encourage you to visit the UWFSC Program link within the website to learn more of what that program has to offer.
We have created this website with a goal of educating the community about SPIN. I hope that you will take this opportunity to visit this site often as announcements and information are always changing.
